Life can often be very difficult. At times we feel locked up, hopeless, even powerless in the face of our situations. We have learned how to live with our anxiety, depression, trauma and addictions and now wouldn’t even know how to identify ourselves without these aspects in our lives. It takes incredible strength in attempting to ignore these symptoms. The pressure of this unending stress does not go unnoticed, as it slowly divides relationships and negatively impacts our physical health.

Alliance Christian Counseling approaches therapy as the application of evidenced-based and empirically-validated theory to provide symptom relief and enhance quality of life; not an advice hour. If you choose to face your pain and take a step towards freedom, we will integrate the best available research with the foundation of the Christian faith to help you stop merely existing and start experiencing hope, purpose, and freedom.

Key Values

HOPE:Psalm 33:22 says, "May your unfailing love be with us, Lord, even as we put our hope in you." The word "hope" is often utilized in reference to recovery as well as found frequently in the pages of Scripture. The vast majority of these biblical references define Jesus Christ as the source of hope. As such, we are reminded that while various counseling theories offer great insight and methods for effective recovery, Christ is the true source of hope.

PURPOSE: Ephesians 1:11-12 (msg) says, "It's in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for… He had His eye on us, had designs on us for glorious living, part of the overall purpose He is working out in everything and everyone." Jesus has a specific purpose for each and every one of us. Let's stop just existing and start living out our God-given potential!

FREEDOM: John 8:32 says, "The truth will set you free." We can trust that no matter the circumstances, our Father's love is tremendous and unfailing. He will provide all we need to embrace the truths surrounding our emotions so that we can experience freedom and the abundant life that Christ alone can provide.
